On this tour we'll explore the historic centre of Vigo to understand how a small fishing village became, in just a century, the largest fishing port in Europe and the largest city in Galicia.
We'll visit must-see places such as A Pedra Market, the Co-cathedral of Vigo or the Puerta del Sol, but also more hidden corners such as the picturesque Rúa Cesteiros, the Roman mine of Neptune or the oldest house in the city.
We will learn about the importance of Galician emigration, we will learn how to taste the local gastronomy and we will discover what relationship characters such as Jules Verne or the spy Mata Hari had with Vigo.
All this crowned with spectacular views of the Vigo estuary and the Cíes Islands from the fortress of San Sebastián, while we relive epic battles against Vikings, pirates and the French.
